User Management Quick Tasks

Task 1: Add a New User (3-5 Minutes)
Open
User Management.Click
+(create user).Fill required fields and save.
Confirm the user appears in the list.
Done criteria:
User row is visible with expected account state.
Login can be tested (or handoff credentials are documented per policy).
Task 2: Assign Roles (2-4 Minutes)
Open target user row.
Click shield/role assignment action.
Select minimum required roles only.
Save and re-open to verify changes persisted.
Done criteria:
Effective role set matches job function.
User sees only expected modules after login.
Task 3: Edit User Security Settings (2-4 Minutes)
Open user details.
Update required security controls (approval/state) per policy.
Save and re-check values.
Done criteria:
Settings persist after refresh/re-login.
No unintended access change is introduced.
Task 4: Deactivate a User (1-2 Minutes)
Open target user action menu.
Click the user status icon (activate/deactivate control) on the target row.
Confirm deactivate action if prompted.
Done criteria:
User state shows inactive.
User can no longer authenticate.
Task 5: Troubleshoot Missing Access (2-5 Minutes)
Confirm account is active.
Confirm role assignment is present and saved.
Confirm permission scope includes the required module actions.
Re-test login/module visibility.
Escalate when:
Role saves fail repeatedly.
Module visibility remains incorrect after role correction.
Security controls cannot be applied.
Task 6: Upload License File (2-3 Minutes)
Open
User -> License.Click
Upload license.Click
Browse...and select the license file received from sales.Click
Uploadand wait for activation result.Open
Nodestab and verify socket registration rows.
Done criteria:
License upload succeeds with no validation error.
License status updates as expected.
Node socket records are visible in
License -> Nodes.
Escalate when:
Upload fails due to expired or invalid license file.
License status does not update after successful upload.
